Lisset Lolandes-Acosta

CEO & Group Facilitator

Lisset Lolandes-Acosta is the Founder and CEO of Sisterhood CT. With a background in mentorship, group facilitation, domestic violence advocacy, and case management, Lisset brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her work with the organization.

 

In addition to her impressive resume, Lisset has launched THRIVE, a youth empowerment program that teaches life skills and coping mechanisms to girls and boys ages 12-17. Through this innovative program, Lisset is empowering the next generation with critical tools and knowledge to help them thrive in school and beyond.

 

Under Lisset's leadership, Sisterhood CT has grown into a thriving community of women and youth who are supported, uplifted, and empowered to achieve their goals. Through her dedication to the cause, Lisset has spearheaded numerous initiatives to provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities for personal and professional growth.

 

Lisset's commitment to making a positive impact on the community led her to start Sisterhood CT as a way to give back. Today, the organization is a testament to her vision and the power of community-driven, women-led initiatives.

Alexandra Cardona

COO , Director of Operations

Alexandra is the co-founder and COO of Sisterhood CT, where she oversees the nonprofit's day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives, along side our CEO, Lisset Lolandes-Acosta. With extensive experience working in the school system as well as managing Human Resources operations, Alexandra brings valuable skills in project management, process improvement, and team leadership to the table.

 

Alexandra directs the food pantry operations for Sisterhood CT, bringing extensive management experience to ensure efficient operations. Her leadership and dedication in providing vital support to the local community have been instrumental during these troubled times.

 

Alexandra is passionate about making a positive impact on the community through her work with Sisterhood CT. Her expertise has helped the organization grow and thrive, making a difference in the lives of many women in the Hartford area.

 

Alexandra's impressive skill set and commitment to positive change make her an excellent leader in the nonprofit sector.
